In this two-disc companion DVD to the eleventh Painting with Paulson public television series, Buck demonstrates seascapes, florals, and landscapes inspired by pochades — sketches that help to replicate colors and ambiance. In addition to the 13 30-minute programs are four ‘problem solving’ videos that focus on enhancing compositions, creating pochades, establishing a center of interest, and glazing for quality. Also included are line drawings of Buck’s paintings that can be downloaded on a computer and printed to use as guides.
